Lump lights faster, peaks hotter, and delivers the wood-fire profile a closed charcoal oven is designed around. Briquettes hold a flatter temperature curve for longer and leave whiter ash. In practice, restaurants running charcoal ovens take the 80% carbon hardwood lump, while retail grill bags and long open-grill services are better served by coconut hexagons and blocks.
Fixed carbon at 80% minimum, ash at 3% maximum, moisture at 6% maximum, 7,200 kcal/kg minimum, and three hours plus per basket load. One 20 ft container, loaded to about 18 t. A 40 ft holds about 26 t, and larger quantities earn a discount. We do not ship LCL or pallet lots, although a mixed-product container is fine for a trial.
Yes. Samples up to 1 kg are free, with the shipping on your account. Larger samples are charged at a minimum price. Ship collect on your own DHL or FedEx account, or ask us for a quote from our preferred courier.
Typically 1 to 4 weeks from order confirmation to loading, depending on the quantity and the orders already in production. Peak season slots in Q3 and Q4 should be booked in advance.
A 30% deposit on order and 70% against the shipping documents. On programme contracts we accept an irrevocable LC at sight. First orders are not shipped on open account.
Each batch is tested in our own lab, and the container CoA quotes the batches that were loaded. On request we book SGS, Sucofindo, or Carsurin for pre-shipment inspection and factory audit at cost, and the MSDS and self-heating test report are issued before the vessel sails.
