Overview

The food-service fuel. Licensed plantation hardwood carbonized slowly for density, screened to 50 to 150 mm, and dried to 6% moisture. One basket load holds a charcoal oven at working temperature through a dinner service. SVLK legality documentation per lot.

Why hardwood rather than coconut shell for a charcoal oven?

Hardwood lump reaches 80% fixed carbon and holds three hours plus per load with 3% ash, which suits a closed charcoal oven that is charged once per service. Coconut formats burn cleaner but need recharging more often at oven temperatures.

Where does the plantation hardwood come from?

Licensed plantation hardwood from Sulawesi, documented per lot so the certificate of origin and legality paperwork match the container. We do not buy from unlicensed or natural forest sources.

What sizing and moisture should the kitchen expect?

Fifty to 150 mm screened lump at 6% maximum moisture and 7,200 kcal/kg minimum, so pieces light without smoking out a dining room. Oversize and undersize are screened out before bagging.

Can a restaurant group run a call-off programme?

Yes. Quarterly container programmes with monthly call-off suit depots and groups: 10 or 15 kg kraft bags, palletized per destination, with the load plan sent alongside the quote.
