Overview
The central shisha format. Pressed from carbonized coconut shell with food-grade tapioca binder, dried to 5% moisture, and burn-tested on every batch. Four cube sizes cover every bowl and heat management device in use: C22 for small bowls and short sessions, C25 as the lounge standard, and C26 and C27 for HMDs and long sessions. Because all four share a single quality spec, a brand can run several sizes with the same ash colour, odour, and heat behaviour.

Which cube size should you order?
The reference format is the 25 mm cube (C25), and it is the safe first order for lounges and retail alike. Deep-chambered heat management devices do better on 26 or 27 mm (C26, C27), which hold heat beyond 110 minutes without needing a third cube. The 22 mm cube (C22) fits small phunnel bowls and markets that price by the cube rather than by the kilo. To keep ash colour and burn consistent across a range, most importers take two sizes from the same factory.
Session performance
On a coil burner, three cubes come up to working temperature in about 7 minutes and settle around 650°C. Through the session the ash stays white and compact. A black core or early crumbling fails our lab check, and the batch is pulled before packing. Volatile matter is held to 14% maximum, so ignition never carries a binder smell into the bowl.
Batch testing and documents
Before drying is signed off, every pressing batch is sampled for fixed carbon, ash, moisture, and burn time, and the container certificate of analysis quotes the batches that were loaded. The MSDS and the non-self-heating test report go with every booking, and SGS or Sucofindo pre-shipment inspection or a factory audit can be booked at cost.
Packaging and custom branding
Inner boxes of 500 g, 1 kg, or 3 kg, packed into master cartons of 10 kg to 20 kg. Every format can carry your artwork on the inner box and the carton, and neutral boxes are held in stock for trial containers. A 20 ft container takes about 18 t and a 40 ft about 26 t.

How do 25 mm and 26 mm shisha cubes differ?
A single millimetre adds about 12% in mass, which is why a 26 mm cube (C26) burns for 110 minutes where a 25 mm cube (C25) burns for 100. Lounges running heat management devices tend to pick 26 or 27 mm, while foil users and retail packs stick with 25 mm.
Why does white ash matter in hookah charcoal?
White ash at 1.9% maximum is the sign that the shell was fully carbonized and the binder fully burned off. Grey or black residue points to unburnt volatiles, which carry odour into the bowl, so a batch that fails the burn check is pulled rather than blended into the container.
How long do the cubes burn?
Anywhere from 80 minutes on the 22 mm cube to 125 minutes on the 27 mm, at 80% fixed carbon and 7,500 kcal/kg. On a coil burner, ignition takes about 7 minutes and the cubes hold roughly 650°C for the session.
