Overview
Cylindrical shisha charcoal for the brands and lounges that arrange sticks around the bowl instead of stacking cubes. Pressed from carbonized coconut shell and tapioca binder, dried to 5% moisture, and rated for 120 minutes per load. Two sizes: S21 at 21 mm in diameter and 45 mm long, and S20 at 20 mm in diameter and 50 mm long.
Sizes and product codes
The two stick sizes share the quality spec and the 120 minute rating. S20 is the slimmer, longer stick, while S21 is shorter and a little heavier per piece.

Why choose round sticks?
Loaded radially around a phunnel or Turkish bowl, sticks produce an even ring of heat with no heat management device. They also snap cleanly, so a single 50 mm stick covers a small bowl as two 25 mm pieces. Markets raised on quick-light rolls often switch to coconut sticks first, because the shape already looks familiar on the shelf.
S21 or S20?
S20 (20 x 50 mm) fits most printed stick boxes and breaks into two even halves. S21 (21 x 45 mm) carries slightly more mass per stick and sits lower in a wide bowl. Both burn for 120 minutes at 80% fixed carbon, so order whichever your box artwork and bowl range already expect.
Batch testing and documents
Before packing, every batch is checked for fixed carbon, ash, moisture, and burn time. Ash is white at 1.9% maximum, volatile matter is held to 14% so ignition never smells of binder, and the container CoA quotes the batches loaded. The MSDS and the self-heating test report go with every booking.
Packaging and custom branding
Inner boxes of 500 g, 1 kg, or 3 kg, packed ten or more to a master carton. Both can carry your branding, with proofs approved before production and neutral boxes for trial containers. Roughly 18 t fits a 20 ft container.

- A 20 ft FCL takes about 18 t in total, a 40 ft FCL about 26 t. The load plan comes with the quote, and we palletize on request.
- Lead time
- Typically 1 to 4 weeks from order confirmation to loading, depending on the quantity and on the orders already in production.
- Product samples
- Free up to 1 kg, with shipping at your cost. Larger samples are charged at a minimum price. Collect on your own DHL or FedEx account, or ask us for a quote from our courier partner.
- Custom branding
- Every product can carry your artwork on inner boxes, bags, and master cartons, printed to your dieline once proofs are approved. For trials, neutral packaging ships.

- Coconut shell charcoal briquettes travel under HS 4402.90.10, accompanied by the MSDS and the non-self-heating test report that carriers require for stowage under IMDG Class 4.2.

Round sticks or hexagonal: does performance differ?
Not in spec or burn time; both run at 80% fixed carbon for 120 minutes. Hex packs tighter and chips less, while round sticks load more evenly around a bowl when there is no HMD. Brands usually choose whichever shape their existing box artwork shows.
How fast do the sticks light?
Around 7 minutes on a coil burner to a full red glow at roughly 650°C, without sparking. Moisture is capped at 5% maximum, and that is what keeps ignition predictable from batch to batch.
Can these be supplied under my own brand?
Yes. Every product can carry your branding: your artwork on the inner box or bag and on the master carton, printed to your dieline once proofs are approved. Trial containers ship in neutral packaging, and mixed-product loads under one label are the usual way to launch a range.
