Natural Coconut Lump

Natural Coconut Lump

Unpressed shell pieces, 20 to 80 mm, 72% fixed carbon, fast ignition.

  • No binder, no pressing, pure shell carbon
  • Fastest lighting product in the range
  • Lowest cost per ton of the consumer lines

Overview

Carbonized coconut shell in its natural piece form: no pressing, no binder. Lights faster and peaks hotter than briquettes, at a lower price per ton. Screened twice so bags carry the stated 20 to 80 mm band, with fines diverted to the industrial line.

Burn profile

Shell lump reaches high heat quickly and burns down faster than pressed formats, suiting open grills and quick service. For long oven services, the hardwood lump is the better fit.

Screening and moisture

Double screening holds the size band; liner bags hold moisture at 10% maximum in transit so ignition behavior survives humid destinations.

Packaging

15 kg woven PP bags with moisture liner, palletized or floor-loaded. About 17 t per 20 ft container.

Product FAQ

Ordering, testing, and shipping for this line.

How does natural shell lump differ from pressed briquettes?

Lump is unpressed shell broken to 20 to 80 mm with no binder, so it lights faster and burns hotter at the start, while a pressed briquette holds a steadier temperature for longer. Buyers running quick grilling turnover usually prefer lump.

What are the contract specs on this lump?

Fixed carbon 72% minimum, ash 3.5% maximum, moisture 10% maximum, and 6,800 kcal/kg minimum. Sizing is screened twice, so fines carry over below the levels a bagging line would reject.

How is the lump bagged for export?

Fifteen kilogram woven PP bags with a moisture liner, which is what keeps a 10% moisture spec intact through a humid ocean leg. Printed bags run from 500 bags per design.

Can I verify the lot before the balance payment?

Yes. Every batch carries an internal burn record and the container certificate of analysis quotes the loaded batches. SGS or Sucofindo pre-shipment inspection can be booked at cost, with the report issued before the vessel sails.
