Product name, HS code, packing unit, net and gross weights, and Incoterm must read identically on the invoice and the packing list. UAE customs brokers frequently check that every file agrees before they release the cargo.

Stuffing should be done with dry cartons and intact liners, and photographed at three points: the empty container, the load in progress, and the sealed door. Charcoal soaks up moisture and odour, so a container with wet flooring or contamination should be refused.
Agree the pallet type in the purchase order. Where wooden pallets are used, ISPM 15 treatment requirements should be confirmed with your broker.
What lead time should UAE buyers expect from Indonesia?
Production slot, packing approval, and sailing schedule together determine lead time. Standard products often load three to four weeks after order confirmation. Retail boxes under your own brand add artwork and print time to that.
Keep production time and ocean transit apart in your planning. A forwarder's quote to Jebel Ali or Khalifa should give the vessel week, not merely the date the factory is ready.
Buyers with quarterly volume should reserve production slots before peak season. Where the contract allows, monthly call-off forecasts help keep packing materials in step with the schedule.
How do FOB and CIF work for UAE charcoal imports?
FOB Jakarta or Semarang is the norm when the UAE buyer manages freight. CIF to Jebel Ali or Khalifa is available for buyers who want the supplier to book ocean freight to the named UAE port.
On FOB terms, the buyer's forwarder makes the IMDG booking using the MSDS and self-heating test report we supply. On CIF terms, make sure the freight quote and the document set have been checked together before the deposit is paid.
